Franchisee Spotlight: Antony and Gloria Gaschteff of The Cleaning Authority
Franchisee Spotlight: Antony and Gloria Gaschteff of The Cleaning Authority
Having recently moved to the United States from their native country of Venezuela, Antony and Gloria Gaschteff are preparing to open their very first business together, The Cleaning Authority, in Kissimmee, Florida.

Antony and Gloria Gaschteff recently moved to the United States from Venezuela in search for a better life, both in business and for the future success of their two daughters. Now living in Kissimmee, Florida, the Gaschteffs will build upon their business experiences with multi-national companies like Coca-Cola as they launch operations of The Cleaning Authority. The couple was drawn to the strong business offering of the brand as well as the support that a franchise system can provide, especially as new citizens of the country.

What were you doing before partnering with The Cleaning Authority?

I have a degree in industrial engineering and worked previously in supply chain with multi-national companies including Coca-Cola and Ambev in Venezuela. I also helped my family build a business, assisting with many elements of the business, including accounting, administration and production. My wife Gloria was a lawyer in Venezuela. We decided to move to the United States with our daughters a couple of years ago to start a new life.

How did you learn about The Cleaning Authority, and what made you ultimately decide to commit?

When we were planning to move to the United States, we worked with a franchise broker to explore franchise options. When presented with The Cleaning Authority as a business option, we saw that this would be a great fit to build upon my management and operations experience. We liked the company’s infrastructure and marketing.

What were your perceptions of franchising before starting the process?

About 10 years ago, we operated an international franchise business and it was not the best experience, but we are confident that the experience for franchisees is better in the United States. As immigrants, it will be helpful to be supported by a franchise system so we can get expert advice about navigating the systems we need to follow, legally and operationally, to be successful.

Why is the Kissimmee the perfect market for your The Cleaning Authority business?

The state of Florida is growing and many people from the northern states are moving south. Kissimmee and neighboring cities are growing quickly and there are many new residential developments that provide a great opportunity for the residential cleaning industry.
